About Octave Bay
A consultancy built around honest selling
We help sales teams in Bangkok and across Thailand work more clearly — without scripts, without pressure, and without the usual consultant jargon.

How Octave Bay came about
Octave Bay was founded in Bangkok by a small team with backgrounds in B2B sales, business development, and operational advisory. We had spent years watching companies invest in sales training that didn't stick — because it was designed for a different context, a different culture, or a different type of buyer relationship.
The name comes from the idea of a calm harbour — a place where teams can pause, think clearly, and prepare before heading back into the work. That is the spirit we try to bring to each engagement: unhurried, practical, and focused on what actually helps.
We started with a simple observation: most sales teams already know their business well. They do not need a methodology imposed on them. They need someone to listen carefully, reflect back what is working, and help them organise what they know into something they can share and build on.
Our Mission
What we are here to do
We exist to help B2B teams in Thailand sell with more confidence and less friction — by giving them clear processes, honest conversation frameworks, and materials built around their actual way of working.
Clarity over complexity
We strip out what is unnecessary and focus on what helps your team move forward.
Respect in every interaction
We build approaches that treat buyers as partners — not targets — because that is how lasting B2B relationships form.
Work that lasts
The documents and frameworks we produce are meant to be used long after our engagement ends.

How We Work
Our professional standards
These are the principles that shape how we engage with clients and how we produce our work.
Confidentiality
Everything shared with us during an engagement stays within our working team. We do not share client information or processes with other clients or third parties.
Clear documentation
Every engagement produces a written output. We do not leave without giving you something tangible — a process outline, a playbook, or a written summary of our recommendations.
Open communication
We discuss scope, pricing, and expectations clearly before any work begins. No surprise invoices or changes in direction without conversation.
Ethical advisory
We only suggest approaches we would be comfortable recommending publicly. Nothing manipulative, nothing that creates pressure on buyers.
Delivery commitments
We set realistic timelines and communicate early if anything needs to shift. Clients always know where things stand.
Context-first thinking
We take the time to understand your industry, your buyers, and your team before forming recommendations. We do not recycle advice from previous clients.
Our Approach
Sales enablement advisory for Bangkok's B2B market
The B2B sales landscape in Thailand has its own rhythms. Buyer relationships take time to build. Decisions involve multiple stakeholders. Trust matters more than tactics. Octave Bay was set up to work within this reality, not against it.
Our process consulting work draws on real sales experience in Southeast Asian markets — technology services, professional advisory, commercial property, and specialised B2B services. We understand how conversations actually unfold in these contexts and how to document them in ways that are easy to follow.
When we work on a Sales Playbook Project, we spend time with the team members who do the selling — not just leadership. We look at how conversations typically begin, how proposals are framed, how follow-up is handled, and where things sometimes stall. The playbook we produce reflects that reality, which is why teams tend to use it.
The Sales Enablement Advisory service is built for companies where the sales team is expanding and needs a steadying outside view. New sellers need orientation. Experienced sellers sometimes need a fresh perspective. An ongoing advisory relationship gives both — without the overhead of a full-time hire.
Octave Bay works with a small number of clients at any given time. We prefer depth over volume — fewer engagements done well, rather than many done quickly. If you are looking for a consultancy that will actually read your materials, listen to your team, and produce something specific to your situation, we are likely a reasonable fit.
